My …Utopian Society

One person’s utopia could be another’s purgatory.
Just what is ideal?

I believe that everyone’s idea of what makes a perfect society changes with time and circumstance.

As a PR practitioner working with IT and telecommunications companies, an ideal world would involve responsible organizations truly committed to developing technology for human advancement, not just for pushing more products to consumers.

As a mother, my ideal world is one where my two children can enjoy the wonderful developments of today’s word without the ugliness of war, deadly diseases or the depletion of natural resources.

Finally, my ideal society would be one that strives for balance, with less greed and more altruism, less narrow-mindedness and more understanding. In particular, world leaders who chart the course of world events with less egoism, more empathy and compassion for humanity.
